A good friend of mine recommended this auto repair place called Big Boys Auto. So glad I took his advice. I called and asked the best time for me to come in and a man named Abe told me to come early the following day. Abe is a very nice man who definitely knows his cars. I told him I was having problems with my engine shaking when I accelerated. He did a thorough inspection and about 15 minutes later was able to correctly diagnose my car. I had two engine mounts that were cracked and a leak by my spark plugs. He pointed to the problems so I could see for myself and went to his computer to give me an estimate. He quoted what I thought was a very fair price considering how much time it would take him. Later that day when I picked up my car I could feel the ride was much smoother. Abe was very friendly as he handed me back my keys and thanked me for my business. Made me feel like a valued customer which is rare these days. Gave me warranty advice for the work that was done and said if I had any trouble in the future with my car to bring it to him and he would take care of me. My car started overheating on the way into Chicago and he got me in same day- found an affordable solution to the issue- fixed another issue from a bad oil change and got me on my way! I left feeling cared for and knowing more about my car and some recommended repairs to keep me running smoothly. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough. I have been very frustrated with my vehicleI have taken it to 3 different shops around around the city for intermittently shutting offOff on me in the middle of traffic one shop charged 1, 750.00 and said it was my torque converter! 800.00 at another shop said it was my fuel pump . The third shop I'm ashamed to say took me for 400.00 dollars cleaned an area by my transmission and said he did a repair to my transmission valves and did absolutely nothing! My brother asked me to take it to Big t's auto repair and I spoke to William explaining what shops I took my vehicle to and the problem i still have he listened to me seen my frustration and askedMe to leave my vehicle over the weekend and there will be no charge until he finds the issue. I thought to myself "wow" that's different so I did I gave him my keys.He asked me if I had a ride home and before I can say I will call someone , he was already calling me an Uber . When he called me to come pick up my car it was fixed I was like no way ..... he explained to me that it had been an issue with my wiring harness and showed me where it was at on top of that charged me 100.00 bucks for his time . Stop at this shop for help with my driver side wiper blade that broke off due to being frozen to the windshield, the guy not only helped me but he fixed the wiper blade, attached it and all. Amazing person! He was so willing to explain the costs of the parts and labor, which were so reasonable! He took his time to explain what was wrong with the car and any other needs it may have for me to check out in the future. I appreciate how ethical and fair he was because he even demonstrated what parts were broken compared to the new parts.
